My involvement with art started at age 25 when I started studying illustration with Marcelo Frusin (Artist of the series Hellblazer and Loveless for DC comics) during the period 1995-2000, there I learned everything concerning the building of human figure, character development, perspective design, inking, claire-obscure, composition, working materials, etc.

My working experience began in 1997 in local freelance magazines, at that time
I obtained some mentions because of my participation in a series of artistic
contests organized by national editors in assemble with the culture subsecretary
of the Province of Buenos Aires
In 1998 I worked as advertising artist for a company of the trade and worked
with character design for the cartoon producer “Patagonic Films”.

In 1999 I worked for an illustrated miniseries of the
late editor “Prima” from the City of Montevideo in Uruguay, which
narrates the adventures of the crew of a whaleboat.
In mid-2000 I provided the storyboards for several
short films presented in latin-american video festivals celebrated in different
annual editions, an activity that I still perform today. Through that year and
2001 I provided illustrations for a book about vampires of local edition that
hasn’t been published yet.
In early 2001 I created the cover artwork for several CDs of local bands, among
them the cover for the duo Jazz Friends “Swing del Sur” for which
I provided a comic page and a back sleeve illustration. It is necessary to clarify
that years later I designed the cover for the duo’s second CD called “Swing
del Sur 2” where I related a sequel of the events told in the previous
cover.

Between 2002 and 2004 working as art director in different
short films, I provided the production design in which are remarkable: The video
clip for the rock band Bulldog “Fatal Destino” directed by Leandro
Tamer (2001), the pilot film for the tv novel “Ellos son así”
directed by Javier Sancho (2002), the short film “La alcancia de Joel”
directed by Santiago Amiele (2002), the videoclip of the group Asphix “Go
on” directed by Leandro Tamer (2003) the short film “Tren de ilusiones”
directed by Martin Vaccaro (2004), the videoclip of the group Axius directed
by Cristian Ubait (2004).
In 2003 I did all sort of commissioned work, among which can be mentioned the
character designs for roleplaying games at local tournaments, together with
the illustration of their respective adventures in comic format.
Between 2004 and 2005 I made different illustrations
for the graphic design company Estudio Saga, to which I provided the art for
the merchandising of the local disco Willy Dixon, company for which I’m
still performing activities.
